Hi,
I would like to know if it is mandatory for private Ltd companies in Bangalore to divide the total number of leaves into CL/PL/SL? OR it it ok if we give them total number of leaves and they can use it the way they want?
Could any one of you help me with the relevant links related to this?

Hi Kumuda
It is better to bifurcate those leaves as CL/PL/SL. for that you should prepare the leave policies. If you dont do so then everything shall be considered as PL only. More over there is obligation from Factories act as well as Shops & Commercial Act.
If need any further help shall contact me

If for Factories the Industrial Employement Act ( Standing Orders ) applicable then IEA speaks about Casual leave so it is better to bifurcate the leaves....

Dear member
Under which act is your organisation covered, Factories Act or Shops and establishment act.
The factories act does not specify bifurcation of Leaves. If your organisation is under shops and establishment act, then suggest you refer to the rules.
