Dear Ms. Rashmi, We cannot hold the PF amount but we can hold employer contribution with valid reason, check with ur PF regional office.

Dear Rashmi Legally you can not hold the PF of any employee nor employer contribution as suggested by Sudheeh as it warrants penal interest and damages for late deposit of contribution.

Hello Rashmi You cannot hold PF amount for any reason, even Govt. also can`t seize or attache PF for any claim.

There is no right to hold the PF claim eventhough the employee did not give notice period.You can deduct the one month salary from his F&F settlement.But you should not hold his amount
