Incase of EL/PL, sunday will nor be deducted but in case of SL it will counted as leave and will deduct 3 SL (Saturday, Sunday & Monday), incase of CL, you need to see company policy and check prefix/suffix.

In general terms, if employee is on leave on Saturday and Monday, definately Sunday will be counted in that leave. However, it depends upon company leave policy. In my company sunday/holidays are not counted as leave.
