Dear All,
I gave 1 month noticed to the company for my resignation and I served it. Now, after the one month period they still keep me in the company for the hand-over and alike. The company just asked me this things at the end of my one noticed, so now I suffered. I cannot get my cancellation because the hand-over still not finish. What should I do? Do I have the rights to complain them to the UAE Labor office?
Sincerely,
John

Dear John,
I suggest to wait for some time and dont do any complain, if you complain then the case will open and it will take more then 3 months to resolve and you will be unable to travel or leave country until its solved.
As per my view your employer is looking for new employee which can handle your job.
And also as per gulf rules once the visa cancelled they need to pay employee all his settlement and benefits, so that, will be the case they just waiting HR to get clear your indemnity.
You can also contact your HR dept and request the reason of the delay.
Thanks,
