I have a similar query. A Management Staff from one of our Company has been retired at the age of 60 years. Looking at his skill and experience now we would like to employ him in our Group Company asa fresh employee. Is it possible as per Legal requirements? What could be the terms and conditions for appointment? Can anybody throw some light on this topics? Sudhir

you can employee him on retainer ship basis. There is no age limit for retainers. I remember we used to give employment to many retired officer on retainer ship basis who were from 60 years to 86 years age range. PSAR ACt 2005 give age limit of 65 to private security guard.
The regular age of employment is what we are talking is only concerned with PF, gratuity, ESIC [say all compliance]So kindly go ahead and give employment to deserving candidates
