I am presently working as a Technical Recruiter with a consultancy in Chandigarh. I am getting 5000 only.
I have only 3 months exp. in this. But now I feel that this is not a right job for me. I want to become HRD Officer in my life. In this consultancy, 6 employees are working and we don't get our salary on time. So I want to know,
1. Should I learn recruitment to go in HR Dept. ?
2. Is recruitment a right career option after MBA in HR ?
3. What should salary be for a fresher as a IT Recruiter ?

Very Good Afternoon to all of you,
I've some doubts regarding Recruitment. I've done my MBA in HR in 2010. Now I am working as a IT Recruiter in a consultancy in Chandigarh from June,2010 to till. I am getting 5000 only. In today's scenario, this is very less amount.
Before joining, owner of the co. said that he will pay us 8000 after 2 months. But we get 5000 even in installments. He doesn't pay us on fixed date.
He doesn't fulfill our basic needs in office like water, tea. When we talk to him regarding tea then he doesn't bother about it.
So I want to know:-
1. Is 5000 a right package for MBA fresher ?
2. I want to become HRD officer so should I learn recruitment for going in HR department ?
3. I want to leave this job b'coz I am not enjoying my work at office.
Plz help me. I want your advice and guidance.

First thing i wud like say that yes im not agree with this remuneration that you are getting there and also in installment. No its not a good amount for a MBA person.
As you have decided or have a wish to bcm a HRD, must have faith on yourself and confidence and do your work honestly and need to learn at every steps.
I like it that you wanna do that. And you must try for some other places as there are number of peoples who are interested in hiring of freshers/new peoples in this areas or for this purpose, on good salary pkg and perks and im sure you'll get it one.

Hi may be in your city there are lack of oppertunities, as per your qualification this salary is vey low.Here ofcourse u will get some experience of recruitment which is the important part of hr but you should try for new job in a good company, because it's easy getting job in company as you are eligible for the same.post your resumes on job portals and also go for interviews in comanies.

See Bandana Rani i dont buy the arguments for looking at monetory terms at so early stage of your professional career that too when you can't compare PTU with IIM's/ISB and also m not assuming you as a merit holder. So to my understanding its the time to implement your learnings and nourish your skills. Certainly to some extent now and upto some level working with recruitment consultancies are acceptable in corporates as well. Dont try to compare yourself with your course types if for the timebeing they are on the top on some parameters as professional careers are normally long and they get built over your domain expertise n professional rigours. Thus try to build on that leaving all momentary worries behind.

To make you feel confident i know a lady who is currently heading HR for Pan India and overseas operations for a telecom company has started her career with a recruitment consultancy and thereafter has worked as an executive HR in a consumer durable plant. To avoid breaking the protocol let me not discuss her here any more. But m sure you also can go her way to success owning her way of learning beyond capabilities..good luck.

I am Jack, I am looking for enhancing my qualification in the field of pyscometric testing , I am based out of Pune , kindly let me know if there are any certificate courses or institutes from where I could complete the Level A /Level B certification in pyscometric testing.
