Hi all I need to know details abt leave structure offered in any organisation. What are the policy regarding leave encashment. Pls advice

Leave structure includes Casual Leave(CL), Sick Leave(SL), Annual or Earned Leave(AL) and Maternity leave.. Usually number of leaves differ from organisation to organisation. Normally it will be 12 days CL, 18 days AL and 12 days sick leave if it exceeds 3 days then Medical certificate should be provided.. Maternity leave includes 12 weeks. This is the leave structure what we follow in our organisation and the left over Annual leaves can be encashed...
I'm also expecting to get a clear picture on leave policy and as far as i understood it varies with organisations, am i rite... need more clarifications on this..
