Dear Deepika,

Good Morning :-P!!!

The basic principle for handling salary administration is to know about :

1. Different salary structures in your organisation
2. Contents of salary
3. What are the deduction to be made from salary
4. Leave Management
5. Statuory Compliances

Firstly go through these then you will get a brief idea about salary administration.

hi deepika
its not a big deel.
do few things:-
1. first go through the hr policy.
2. read the grading policy.
3. salary is depend on few thing
salary= basic+d.a.+conveyence allowonce+medical allownce+books & periodicals+educaion allowonce+vehicle maintanance.
( And so many more thing) depennds on the employee grading, their work cultrue i.e. marketing, sales, accounts, admin etc.
4. In so many cases basic part is very low becouse on the basic salary we are calculating PF thats why so many organisation prferred that basic is to be low & other allownce is to be high to make CTC high.
i hope this information is very helpful for you.

Yea, it will be very helpful for basic ideas about. But Deepika has to work hard to learn it. Because salary structure will very from one company to another. So learn the Salary structure from your seniors and follow it accordingly.
Most important thing is if you do mistake, you will learn it easily because employee will come and ask "why my salary is less than the previous, Madam?" heeeeheeeeee ....... just joking.... don't take it otherwise.
