I think bond will be in favour with your employer....you can wait for another 2 months & after that try to switch ...y to get depress & start searching for a new one......

Senthil-
A bond of any kind is not vaild. Reason: Its in favour of employer only and leagaly if the employer pulls you to the court of law... he is in for a surprise. But thats not the concern here, if you ask me.... the concern is that if you violate the bond...the employer has every right to hold your relieving docs....man you have invested 2yrs in the company...and you surely dont want to move out without proper letters.... So my advise is stick to it and ensur that you get your relieveing docs.... OR talk to your boss and request him to relieve you.... ask for his help.... thats the best you can do without messing up too much!
Good luck!

Even i heard of a same kind of issue very recently . This person who has signed a bond with his employer wants to shift his job and his bond would get over in other 2 1/2 months . Now the company doesnt want to relieve him because he has good control over his team . the notice period is for 2 months .he can wait till his bond gets over but the problem here is the 15 days which he has to fight for . Because the employer wouldnt give him the relieving letter and the new employer wont agree with an extra 15 days extension of the joining date.
What should the guy do about this . Plz give any suggestions.
