Hi,
During one of my interview for HR position, Interviewer mentioned that attendance and Leave comes under HR whereas my opinion is that it comes in administration. Though, I couldn't argue with her given my situation. I would like to know the expert view on the same.

I believe Attendance and Leave can either come under HR or Administration depending on how the organization has structured its employees. For a large organization which has a seperate HR Department, Attedance and Leave will come under the HR Department. For a small organization which does not have a HR Department but has an Administration Department/section, the Attendance and Leave will come under Administration as HR matters usually fall under Administration in the days when HR was not a common thing yet...
