I had resigned from previous company 2 years back and got relieving letter at that time with out any difficulty.
After a gap of 2 years I have been received one legal notice, saying I left the company without pre information to company and having Rs.10,000 from company account. I have been asked to pay this amount with out delay otherwise they will file this case. I have not even received the dues were balance from the company after being released. I am mentally disturbed please suggest me to do?
Thanks

Since you have with you the relieving order of the company there seems to be nothing to worry about. Moreover, a legal notice for recovery of a notice pay due in 2 years earlier will not last. Do not reply to such notices. If the matter is filed in any court, you can produce the relieving order in the court.

Dear Subhash
If you have full and final settlement letter with you then there is no worry, however if the Company later on any time finds out any goof in records which is on your part the Company is entitled to recover. Here on recipet of notice you have right to ask the Company to give you the detailes of the alleged amount as to how that amount is due to you and after knowing that you will be in better position to take decision and we will be in better position to advice.
As far as recovery of money due is concerned there is limitation of period 3 years from the cause of action.
