Shikhar Sethi
Hi,

I am working in an organization since 8 months

Our Appraisal/ increment is effective from April 1, 2017.

Our performance rating has been discussed and an appraisal form has been forwarded to HR by my immediate superior in May 2017.

We didn't receive any letter till June 19, 2017. In the meanwhile I received a good offer and i have resigned from my current position on 1st July 2017

I spoke to the HR regarding whether i will receive appraisal letter and arrears from April 2017 till the May 31st 2017. As i have resigned on 1st July 2017. The Hr denied saying that as i am on notice period of 60 days, my appraisal will be on hold and i shall not receive the increment or arrears according to policy.

I need to serve my notice period till 31st July, 2017 & for remaining 30 days i am buying-out for the same. And in between they shall release the appraisal letter to others.

Is there any way out to this problem and claim the arrears?

" Weather the amount is small or huge but I think logically i have right to get the arrears of at-least 2 months till the time i served for company excluding my notice period "

As if i would have received my appraisals on time then logically i would received my revised salary in the month of April, May & June its because company has delayed in giving Appraisal letter then why should employee suffer?

Thanks,

Shikhar
