HI Prarthana
Dip in salary will not affect your career. Any how experience with BPO is better that consultancy.
Increments and appraisals will be purely based on the performance and not on the previous company salary. It is better to take the offer and perform well.

Hello Prathana,
I totally agree with Jeev. For next hike, its totally depend on your negotiation skill, total experience & your stability at one workplace. How better you justify, you will get better hike.

Hi Prarthana.
I believe you are still with the same BPO. I advice is not to look for any change as of now. First you try to stick for a while & learn and justify your performance.
My advice to HR's is don't be job hopper. It is not advisable for HR professions. The reason is we being as HR we are looking candidates to stay for long term and even we do need stick for long term. Then only we will get better positions in any organisation. :)
