Hi Vidya,
To start with you can go for 5S and basic safety training programms. Then you discuss with concern HOD's and prepare a skill matrix related to their function. Based on the skill matrix you can go ahead with training shedule. For soft skills you can have a set of topics related to your employees as adviced by our frens in their replies

Hi Vidhya
The training which I would prefer to provide training to the workers is first his job related training, how to get the output,
Do's and dont's while on work, targets set for performance, general guidelines of the organisation rules.
At Latter stage based on his skills and knowledge we can deside training like team building, behavior with seniors and colleges etc.

Hi,
Apart from 5-S Housekeeping, even Awareness on Logistics, Fire Safety, Stress Management / Basic Yoga / Meditation will also be helpful. Apart from this, Self Motivation / Achhievement Motivation will also be useful for them. If they are on the threshold of getting into supervisory roles, even Supervisory Skills will be useful for them. I have conducted this programme for Facilities Management / Builders etc. in the recent past.
