I am trying to list all the major and minor business spends an organisation has in order to ascertain which areas exist - I am talking about services here and not core infrastructure or running of the organisation and things which are general to all organizations.

The Usual list

1) House keeping services - often contracted to external organisations

2) Recruitment consultants - paid on success basis

3) Payroll services - some are starting to do this

4) Training services - when a specific need is defined

5) Catering services - food and beverages for employees

6) Marketing agencies - for promotions

7) Financial services - audits, maybe book keeping and accounting

New emerging services

1) Candidate assessment test services

2) Offsite team building activities services

3) Corporate gifting and printing services

4) Social media services - like maintaining brand identities, listening teams

5) HRIS systems to maintain employee records etc

6) Team and project management services

Please add to this list. The core goal is to try to identify the service areas which are emerging or areas which can be serviced but are not yet done.

I would like to add the following
1. Safety (HSE Team) Services to Factories/Construction Industries
2. Security Services (As the company cannot deploy their own person as security guard due to want of Guard Board Approvals, and other licence requirement).
3. Casual work force (this will be deployed only through Contractors because the services are required for only certain time frame and permanent work force will cost them more).

* Background screening services (many online also)
* Pathology services for employee health checkup
* Office supply services (stationery etc - some online services were started but most have failed to capture this market - still offline and often based on contracts)
* Travel phone services (like Matrix)
* Service apartments and extreme budget hotels
The reason for creating this list is to help people who are looking to start HR services and also to identify new emerging trends. The list needs to remain HR centric - stuff which directly impacts the employees.
