I had worked as Area Manager in Courier firm from sep12 to Nov12.On mutual consent I resigned on nov 31 st 2012.I gave resignation letter and handed over mobile as well.It has been more than 7 months ,i am following up for salary.Till i am not able to recover.Amount due is 21,755.
There is no offer letter from employed, whereas i had taken salary certificate signed with seal and sign on company letter head. This apart i have mail trail, where employer has confirmed that he will be pay me.
What options do i have now to recover my dues ? legally as well.

Due you have the attendance record proof to demand Salary ???
Have you not signed any letter i.e. offer/appointment or Standing Orders during your tenure with the company
Did you received all other papers with regards to your relieving experience extra before filing/approaching the legal. The reason behind asking is that once you go legal it should not back track you and will spoil your career.

Dear Ramesh,
Was there a PF deducted from your monthly salary and do you have your PF no? Are you presently employed? In that case, you can approach the Labour department and file a case. Hoping that you have received all the documents and only the final salary/settlement is pending. Would be better if you could consult a Statutory Consultant with all the relevant documents before hand.

Dear Ramesh, Please check with a Statutory Advocate and initiate a notice to that company for your pending salary and the interest on the amount, for the period it is kept on hold.

Dear Ramesh,
In my opinion, if your single signature in any papers of company, is a valid proof to fight legally with company.
You could file a case in labour court, and believe, 99.99 % decision are come on favor of employee in labour court.
Send him a legal notice and look the effect. He will surely respond you.
