Hi, I work for a start-up having 6-8 employees. Additionally, We have 3 people in the management- CEO, Sales Head, Director-shared services (HR & Finance). Except the CEO both the people are appointed by a different organization which has funded this start-up (CEO was an EX-employee in this organization) . I report to the Sales Head. Getting salary slip after 15 days, or sometimes together for a quarter, not getting relieving letter on the last day of the notice, employee code not being mentioned in the salary slips etc.are the common HR practices followed in my company. As this one guy takes care of finance and HR, If I want to resign, should I send my resignation directly to the CEO by registered post to be on a safer side ?? Our notice period is of 1 month and I m ready to serve that but is there a way to get my Relieving letter and final cheque on the last day of the notice period??

Kindly advise..

Thanks

starts up are started with an ambition, they do go through tough phases. it takes lot of conviction to become an entrepreneur, you should be appreciating the opportunity that you've and learn from them. Money can be acquired at any point but startup experience is something to worship. be polite when you want to exit from them.
