I am working in textile industry. I have dont know sice leave rules. I am observed management alloted sice leave that one employee joined last year i.e 01.06.2010 one year probation period. His confirmation is 31.05.2011. Our company rules are after completed probation period is will allote sice leaves.i.e remaining months in calender year from 01.06.2011 to 31.12.2011
he is eligible 3days (2months 1 leave eligible)

Plz refer yours state "THE - ESTABLISHMENTS(NATIONAL AND FESTIVAL HOLIDAYS AND
CASUAL AND SICK LEAVE) rule , almost every state has one.
second thing is employee if covered under esi act,it is not mandatory to provide sl to him but law do not bar anyone to provide the same even to those out of it preview,second thing regarding the availing of sick leave during the probation period ,at least for company that comes under preview of factory act can not set such clauses in there leave policy ,employee can avail sl as an when he became sick and have accumulated sl in his balance generally (1 in 42 days)

HI Atul why SL is one in 42 days. there is not any law even ESTABLISHMENTS(NATIONAL AND FESTIVAL HOLIDAYS AND CASUAL AND SICK LEAVE) never say like that so plz tell the correct way. or clarify.
