Dear All,
This is gokul here, as per S & E Act Casual leave -12 days , and Sick leave -12 days form the date of joining for an employee and a employee is eligible for Earned leave after completeing 240 days (i.e) 1 day leave for every 20 working days. The above mentioned structure is followed in Tamil Nadu. If there is any change in this please give a suggestion...

hi senior
please help me understand the number of leaves including EL,CL and SL one can get in during a year ,
ours is private limited company and recently we have started 5 day week and our boss asked to reduce the ELs (earlier 18 days and 6 days of Sick leave ) to a maximum of 18 days
if we have to give 18 days in a year how should be the breakup give the statutory number of days for each category as defined in AP shops and ESt Act and labour laws
regards
