Hello Friends,

I am Sachin. I passed my 10th in 2003 and 12th in 2005, after that i took admission in D Pharm (same year ie 2005)
but i have no interest in it ( i hv interest in computers but due to some family recommendation i took admissions in it)
so i failed to pass and left that field for forever. after that i took admission in BCA in 2008,
In BCA and cleared 1st year but in 2nd year i found math so hard so i got dc several times. then i took readmission
in BCA 2nd year in another college (in 2011) and cleard it in 2013. During 2009-2010 i worked for small computer sales
and service shop ( 1.8 years) and done some certifications in linux. Now I am facing problem to get job :(
My queries are :
1) How can i handle this type of gap to get job in IT companies ?
2) Will i get job in MNC company after several years of experience ?
3) How can i get my career on track ?

Please give me your valuable suggestions
Thank you

Dear Sachin,

Your case is bit complicated but we can find the solution. Let us put your career on track step by step

Step No.1: Forget about all the failed academic endeavors. Just remember those in which you have gotten success.

Step No.2: Prepare your resume. Do not indicate starting years of your academics just highlight finishing years. Use strong verbs and convincing sentences. You can take help from the following links.

Step No.3: Admit that you have weakness in your career profile in form of education gap. So, Start searching job in ANY company, Do not stress on MNC, do try for MNC but do not reject offer from any other company. Your first priority should be getting job. Get some experience of working and make your resume more powerful afterwards hoping for MNC. 1.8 years of experience is not too much to get job in MNC while you do not have good education history. I am not saying that you CANNOT get job in MNC at this stage. I rather mean that it is difficult for you at this stage and believe me, for a long jump you have to step back.

Hope you will get your career at right path. Do not hesitate, if you ask any further question.
