If company not paid salary on time from last 6-7 months and employee resigned with immediate effect due this reason, so in that case any notice period is applicable.

Not sure whether you are the HR or the affected employee of the Company.

In case of resignation what ever notice period mentioned in the appointment terms to be followed. However Employer / Employee on mutual consent may end the contract without any notice also.
