Hi,
I have 2years of experience in a small franchise office as an asst. administrator and 2yrs in icici bank as an analyst .Franchise office has shut down..
Now, my questions is-
As this has shut down, how will HSBC verify it (I have resignation letter on the letter head of that office.)? If they can not verify because the company has shut down, what effect will it have on me? and even I'm sure that office is not registered as per the companies act coz its a small office which has opened in hardly two rooms.
plz help me I dont want to lose hsbc..

Hi
If the company has registered then you are exp will be counted or else they might not take in considerations as the company is not reg.
If you want to show that exp you can give your Reporting manager number and take his help so that he can manage the show

Hi There
Pls do not worry about the previous company shutting down. You have nothing to do with that.
The purpose of background verification is only to ensure that the candidate has given accurate information about himself/herself without any falsification/inadequate or incomplete information
There have been cases where some of the biggest corporation have shut down,So that does not mean the employees cannot apply elsewhere.
The third party is going to verify the credentials of your previous company, will ensure weather it was a dubious company. They may speak to the ex directors, previous vendors, employees etc and then submit a final report to your employee.
So in all fairness if your previous company was indeed in ethical business and you were working for him.You have nothing to worry about.
We at Brightlist Global do all kinds of Background Verifications.
