Hello HR folks,
Can someone advice on list of applicable public holidays or minimum number to be maintained state-wise. I have referred shops & establishment act some state do mention mandatory list along with specified number of holidays to be given in the name of festivals. But in some case there is no mention of it ie (list to be maintained). Can holidays stated in state's industrial establishment apply to shops and establishment rules of same state, if not what is my next reference ?
