It gives me great pleasure to join you. Here is my profile: I am an alumnus of Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi and the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun. After an illustrious career of about 17 years in the Indian Army (The Regiment of Artillery), I am working in the private sector industry for the past 8 years. I am a qualified Interpreter in Chinese language, well experienced HR Professional and a Trainer. I am a keen enthusiast in Adventure Activities and a good sportsperson, and have the distinction of leading two expeditions in the Western Himalayas in 1988 & 1989. I am heading the dept. of HR,Administration & Facilities at ValDel Retail Pvt. Ltd., in Bangalore at present.

It has been a pleasure helping out young professionals [younger than us :)] with their queries, some we could & some we didn't have a clue about but thankfully the group has grown big enough & some very highly respected HR professionals like yourself & professors have joined us to help us build the foundation of this forum.
