Dear all,
I hope most of them are going to write the papers... But the thing is how will they ask... it will be on objective type only... so, if we discuss by asking questions, i hope we can come to know certain things in HR... so, start posting questions and the question who has posted should tell the answer if nobody replies for it... 2 days is the time limit... i hope it works out...
Let me start out with a question...
As you know very well, As per Law, An employee can be given gratuity if he completes 5 yrs of continuous service with an organization. Say for example, An employee joins a pvt company and exactly resigns when he complete 5 yrs of service. The thing is, at the time of joining, he has been given a training for one year.. His job becomes confirmed after one year and also the PF and other things were not deducted during the first year. So, now the question is whether the empl can be given gratuity...?

Dear Mr. Vijetashukla,
Thanks for your link and its really an useful information for all of us...
From those discussions, gratuity cannot be given under the following situation:
1) During Apprentice Training (Standing Orders of Apprentice Act)
But, If an employee who is not under Apprentice training, but PF & ESI not deducted like Temporary staff (working full time) can be given gratuity....?
Please advice,
Also post some new HR questions on this forum discussion... That could be a learning for budding HRs like me...
Thanks.
