We are quite aware of the fact that each of us have been receiving quite a lot of communications from EPFO [ Employees Provident Fund Organization ] on introduction of UAN [Univeral Account Number] for the members of EPFO. There are also notifications and a UAN Manual to this effect. Recently EPFO's officials also sent emails to employers to undertake "Seeding of KYC" on an urgent basis.
Though "Seeding of KYC" is not a very complex procedure, as employers we should also look at the challenges we would face in implementation of UAN. UAN is a welcome change, it would improve governance in the EPFO and minimize paperwork in the long run.
So, the next question is what action are we supposed to take ?

Appreciate your question Tina. Yes the UAN will be a beneficial to individual as well as organisation.
1. UAN would be attached to an employee as an identity.
2. You can change job without worries of PF Transfer, which takes minimal time with UAN.
3. Most importantly your PF contribution cannot be withhold for any reasons by the employer.
4. The history of employers is visible to only the employee that too it requires a mapping with the UAN otherwise it is not visible to anyone.

SOME OF OUR EMPLOYEES ARE NOT ABLE TO SIGN AND THEY HAVE NOT OPENED THEIR BANK A/C,DONT HAVE
AADHAR CARD No.ETC.
HOW WE WILL HAVE TO FILL UP THEIR RECORD. AS WE ARE RECEIVING MOBILE CALLS TO COMPLETE THE DATTA ON PRIORITY BASIS.
CAN WE SEND THE DETAILS OF THOSE EMPLOYEES ,WHOSE RECORDS ARE UPTODATE AND REST OF THE EMPLOYEES RECORD WILL BE SUBMITTED LATER.

1) For those who don't have the account details and aadhar card details etc., definitely we need to get atleast one particular ID no and update the same for their record.
2) Yes you can upload partly for those employees for whom you have details in first slot and the rest after getting the details again you can upload the rest separately.

Sir,
recently we recived a letter to upload employees salary details who are drawing more than 6500/- and we prepared details as salary+hra+conv.+other allow. And converted this detail in ecr to opload but the system is not accepting.
Tried so many times to contact pf office edp deptt,but of no use they dont pick the call.
Will you help how to upload this datta, it will be very useful to other also.
