My company is not paying salary regularly; they pay salary very late (like 3-4 months late). My last salary was paid for the months of November 2018. But when I check the status of EPFO, I see that my company contributed their share until January 2019. What should I do, guys? Please help me. I am not the only one facing this issue; around 125 people are experiencing the same problem in my company. The company name is Educomp Solutions.

Dear Kishan,
I think you and your colleagues should be at least partly happy that the management does not default on the periodic contributions to the EPF. It would be better to make a joint representation to the State Labor Commissioner.

Non-payment of wages/salary within two days from the date of the end of the pay period is illegal, and such withholding shall have serious repercussions, including fines, prosecution, and other deterrent measures. Employers beware. Pursue the matter with the Office of the Labour Commissioner as advised. Also, raise grievances before the Grievance Redressal Committee.
