Hello Prajakta.Patil,
What are the points you wish to cover in the proposed policy?
I am not sure if such matters/issues are a part of any company's policy.
Why not discuss with the local traffic police--you could get the right inputs from them.

Dear TS, Thanks. For helmet on two wheelers please follow the legal notifications. There can not be any deviation. In case you want to have a policy it has to be stricter. Thanks & Regards, Sudhir

Dear Prajakta Patil
Did you get any help from the inputs given by our forum members... Do let us know your progress of making a policy...
You may go for making a policy which even asking the pillion driver to wear the crash helmet... In our plant we are going to provide shelf's to individual employees to keep their crash helmet in the parking area... This allows to ensure the all time use of helmet by the employees, they can keep the crash helmet and taken their safety helmet from this shelf...
@Sudhir Sir
Sorry for being late in come up with my inputs... We don't have that much specific and separate procedure for the use of crash helmet... It's one of the requirement only under our road safety standard... Thanks and keep on sharing...

following are the points my company would like to cover in policy.
All the employee have to use helmet in-order use the parking premises of the company or else vehicle will be parked outside company premises and company will not take any responsibility of vehicle security and also 100/- will be charged as fine.

Hello Prajakta Patil,
A nice way of handling the issue--EXCEPT for the Fine part.
I am not sure if you will be 'entirely legal' since--to the extent I know--ONLY the Traffic Police can levy any fines for such violations. Better check it out before implementing.

Dear Prajakta,
I do not see any problem. In fact you are forcing legal compliance by your employees.
Only obligation you might have is the fine amount such collected has to be used for welfare activities. Your company must be aware of this.
In India this works very well.
Thanks & Regards,
Sudhir
