Please help me in understanding if I took a unscheduled leave on 16th Jan Friday and from 19th Monday to 23rd Friday was my authorised leave.. will 16th, 17th (saturday), 18th( sunday) will be calculated as a sandwich leave and my salary will be cut for all 3 days.

Leave rule change from company to company . You should go through your HR handbook or service rules.
