Hi, I am a new comer here.
I am currently on a project regarding occupational stress management.
Can anyone help me how to make one (which is testable as well). Moreover how to assess its reliability and validity using spss. I read through spss tutorial but still needed some more guidance regarding its usage.
Regards.

Hi Adeel,
Warm welcome to Cite HR.
I use 'Training Instruments in HRD and OD' by Udai Pareek for various tests. I have never worked with spss.. so can't help much.
I shall do some research and revert by tomorrow.

Dear Adeel and other bloggers
The best way to go about is conduct a Google search first using keywords from your query. Find scholary articles and reports to see what others have done, how and why that way, in similar areas. For example my search, following that advice, led me to http://occmed.oxfordjournals.org/con...3/191.full.pdf http://www.iop.kcl.ac.uk/iopweb/blob...SSQ_Manual.pdf <link no longer exists - removed> and others at Google

Thanks a lot for your prompt replies. There were really helpful.
Thanks Mr Sharma, I will be waiting for your further comments.
Thanks Ms Simhan, I did find something usable as you said; and very valued off course.
Plus I need one more help; How to find already tested question banks for customizing the questionnaire for a specific case. I tried to find question banks of "gallup poll" and "National Opinion Research Centre", but couldn't navigate to the right link in spite of site scanning for an hour.
Moreover; Sorry if I ask something silly, but I am trying out with my first research; so I do get stuck up every now and then :)
Regards,
Adeel.

Please click on about us in my post and then you will find my sex. I think in one of the articles that I suggested there is a questionnaire.

Extremely sorry for the mistake; as this was probably my first personalized encounter with Indian names.
Thanks for the tip anyways, I did get the questionnaire, and definitely it will help me in customizing it as per my needs.
Lots of regards,
Adeel.
