Well dear, it is very hard to manage all these details in excel files regarding paid leave details, remaining paid leaves and most of the time it leads to critical errors in salary calculations. If your join any company which do not have any payroll software then you can suggest them to buy a payroll software which is also beneficial for them and save a lot of your time.

Dear User,
I have been doing payroll in excel only I have attached a format for your reference. Most of the excel sheets are linked (formula based) . Any one using this format have to maintain only Attendance sheet of current month (Apr 2018), rest paysheet, payslip, pf, esi, leaves and advances all are interlinked and automatically changes no need to give inputs except in paysheet -working days column you have to give that month days (like Feb=28, Apr=30, May=31). In attendance sheet (Apr 2018) you have to add one more column in the middle for 31 days or delete one or two columns for 30 days or 28 days.
For those who want to do payroll in excel can use it and get appraised by your superiors.
One thing be careful while doing payroll in excel there will be lot of mistakes if you don't take it seriously and work. If an employee gets even 1 rs. less or 1 leave is wasted or if you give loss of pay then you will lose your job. Be careful while doing payroll in excel.
If any excel sheet is not linked then carefully link it with proper formula.
