it depends on the forms of the organaisation ...the organsation can be extremely flat or have functional or matrix structure...
typicall small firms have this flow ....
CEO - CIO -CTO -CFO
Vice Presidents for all functions like
HR, Finance& Accounts, Sales operations, Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain & TQM.
the GM ,Sr mgrs, mgr, PM for each function follow accordingly ... All VP's report to CEO directly in Small firms with a size not more than 300 employees.
