************ Values & Virtues of Member (External) on Internal Committees ***********
It is essentially Compulsory for Every Employer while constituting Internal Committees for each of her/his Workplace Premises to Nominate a Competent, and Eligible Person as the Non-Employee-Member (External) on each IC and Notify to all Employees at the said Workplace & Others, about her/his Name, Contact Telephone Nos and Email ids.
The Most Effective IC Member (External), on any Internal Committee: Shall: -
1. Do Right Things Right, First Time, Every Time;
2. Inspire Aggrieved-Woman Complainant & Employee-Respondent throughout IC Proceedings for both to believe that Justice is Being Done & none will be denied Opportunities to defend their "Stand";
3. Ignite the Minds of the Presiding Officer & other Members of IC so that Full Committee is Active, Agile to Perform their Duties in a Fair, Just & Proper Manner without Fear of Repercussions & Reprisals, whatsoever.
4. Offer all Active Assistance in Making Enquiry Papers Notices, Records, and Enquiry Reports with Definite & Conclusive Findings within 10 Days of Concluding the Enquiry.
5. Be Fully Familiar with Issues of Sexual Harassment of Women in the Workplace, particularly quid pro quo.
6. Be Well-Versed with the Twin Principles of Natural Justice, hence shall apply them in practice without Fear or Favour.
7. Be Fair-to-People and True-to-the Cause, concurrently.
8. Never Be Arbitrary, Biased, or Prejudiced in Spirit or Words.
9. Be Master of Internal Enquiry Procedures, Order of Events / Protocol to be Strictly Followed during Enquiry Proceedings despite attempts to disrupt the Recording of Testimonies, Cross-Examination, Clarifications, Admit Documentary, Evidence; and
10. Ensure ZERO Litigations arising out of IC Enquiry Reports or Recommendations;
