Hi all, I am trying to study Six Sigma in my PhD, I would like to get ideas from the members on what are the areas that could use Six Sigma in education (college, university, school). I am already thinking in using Six Sigma in developing postgraduate programs in the faculties of education in Egyptian universities… What about that in your opinions?

Also, I am thinking in Using Six Sigma in the development of management quality assurance units in accredited schools … but, here I am confused in two questions, the 1st question, Is Six Sigma tool help organizations get a quality? Or Is it a tool help institutions to maintain quality after accessing to quality and accreditation?

Hi I wrote before also writing again as six-sigma can also be used in finding the draw back as to why students don't score good, this will be a detailed concept use of six-sigma but when achieved will be amazing. This will prove to be a dedication towards the students and towards the efforts put in by faculty members as well. DMADV will be the concept used in the system here.

Six sigma is a management strategies which is viewed as quantitative analysis to meet the quality standard of the product. This concept is successfully accepted in manufacturing industries and yet to be proved in education sector. Initially it may take some variables as the education it a vast & varied study area. However, every company is not getting their quality assurance from this tool. As per my opinion it will be useful to meet the standard & quality of Education only if the approaches are strictly followed.
