Safety Audits are carried out both internally by safety personnel and external by safety agencies. The audit procedure involves checking the fire safety procedures for the industry, employer's attitude towards safety i.e, by display of safety slogans, conducting safety awareness programs etc, providing personal protective equipment to the staff and daily labour. Hazop refers to Hazardous Operability which involves assessing various Hazardous environments, conditions inside the plant and prevention of the same by Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Procedures etc.
