Do we have any provision which says that an employee may restrict his pf contribution on 6500 only and not on his actual salary
Do we still have to apply for subcodes in ESIC after the introduction of BIO Metric card EG---an employer whose employee is working in Chandigard has to obtain subcode in chandigarh?

Need urgent feedback here.
We are an architectural/interior designing firm based in Mumbai & executing Interior projects on turnkey basis. Our technical staff strength is 6 nos along with 2 partners.
Are we eligible for ESIC deductions by our clients,especially when we sub-contract the works to different vendor/subcontractor & do not have any labour under our payroll.
Can we forward our subcontractors PF number to avail exemption from the deductions?
Our subcontractor is eligible for PF & not ESIC as he has less than 20 employees under his payroll too.

minimum number employees required for esic deductions are 10 or more than that.. and if u are subcontracting to different vendors.. and if the labours are not on your payroll their pf and esic deduction should be done by vendore and challan has to be submitted by u....
