Dear All,
As per the leave policy in my company a employee can not take more than 3 days of CL(casual Leave) continuously. but an employee has got only 9 days CL and no other leave available in his leave balance, now he wants to take all the 9 CL continuously for his marriage. Can you suggest me how to go about it.
Thanks

Hii Pallavi
Casual Leave is not a recognised form of leave. An official on CL is not treated as absent from duty and pay is not intermitted.
It can not be combined with any kind leave.
During a period of Casual Leave if sunday and public holidays fall, are not counted as part of Casual Leave.
If your company leave rule does not allow to take more than 3 CL continuously. then u can't allow the employee take more that 3 CL.
The only solution the employees have at present circumstance.
1.The employee can get 5 days by taking 3 days CL if the sunday and saturday are off .
2. The management can sanction Extra ordinary Leave ( Without pay leave) to employee as per request.
Thanks
