I like to have clarification on the following.
Let us suppose an employee salary is Rupees 9000, he is under ESI coverage. If an Medical reimbursement of Rs. 2000 is given to him will he be out of ESI. If so what happens if he submits the bill for Rs.500 only in that month.

Salary doesnot include any irregular payment. Therefore, if in any month medical reimbursement is paid to an employee, that amount will not qualify for calculation of salary and deciding the coverage. Only payments of regular nature are counted for.
