dear whether your est is covered under factories act or shop and establishment act . in which state your office is located because particular state rul;es will apply for leave. regards j s malik

I am working in Construction company in Jamshedpur (Jharkhand). My company is Pvt. Ltd from last 10 years. Almost 18 nos. of employee are working under this company. They dont have any rule and policies for leave, overtime, Holidays etc. I joined this here as a HR Manager six month back only. I just want to know is there any act or rule by government which are compulsory for Pvt. Ltd. Company. I am interested to implement this rule in over company otherwise company had a rule to deduct a salary on absentism and give money back of 23 days leave in every financial year. Pls guide me how to I implement leave policies for my company which willbe beneficial for both the parties.
