Dear Sanjiv,
This is not a revision in minimum wages while this is an increase in minimum wages as alredy notified by Haryana Govt. w.e.f. 01.01.2009 which has resulted due to increase in consumer price index number linked with minimum wages. This is also to be noticed here that due to increase of Rs.175.56 the total minimum wages for an unskilled worker has become Rs.3840.10 i.e. Rs.3664.54 plus Rs.175.56= Rs.3840.10 while the Haryana Govt. letter shows it as Rs.3840.01. The position for other categories is also same. I am thinking that this mistake happened due calculator calculation which after addition of these two comes to Rs.3840.1=. Calculator shows this figure & due to this it might be possible the competent authority staff may have considered as Rs.5840.01p. I may be wrong. This time daily rate od wages are found correct.
Submitted for the general information of all the Haryana Ld.HR members & if I am wrong plz do correct the statement.
