thanks... but I should tell u this thing---my first day in ONGC
today was my first day of summer project. it was an informal meeting with my guide Mr. Deepak Mohan
which lasted about 1 hour. He spoke every possible thing about ONGC Ahmedabad to dishearten and disappoint me on the name of
'ground realities' .
he told me that all HR activites of this organisation is centralised, i.e., all the policies and decisions are made in the main office
which is situated in Delhi, at asset level they only do impelmentation work. the topic ' recruitment coordination and performance appraisal'
which was earlier given to me, he said would not be possible to do in Ahmedabad. however, he explained me that there are
two kinds of project- study based & research based.
In study based project you actually need to work with company while in research based project you collect primary data
through quesstionnaire and secondary and list your findings based on that.
He said you can do research based project out here, finding out attitude of employees, etc...also said that come up with your
owm idea and he will help me to prepare that questionnaire and do the research.
but I am absolutely clueless as which project to choose which would best suit me with all these constraints.
now, please help me and suggest me some project.

Dear Ritu,
First things don't get demotivated, always remember what we read in book are not at ground level, our study/book/learning are a guideline for us to evaluate the thing and work and make the changes.
Ask Deepak regarding the manual/policy ( which will have guideline/Forms). I did my Project From ONGC Dehradun but Iworked on totality related to HR/trade Union/Grievance process/ Perfomance Manangement system/Training and Development/ Recruitment process. But unfortunately i have not kept the copy of my work otherwise it could have helped you.
you can also work on Trade union. Prepare Questionaire and meet Different trade union leader and Management to get their functionality.
