I want experience letter as a sales engineer. i have worked for a company for more than 10 months company has not given me salary for 6 months. and closed down without informing. now whenever and wherever i go for job they ask me for experience letter.

It is very unfornuate incident.
If they have given you you appointment letter than, you can show that as the start date of your job and then tell them that as the company has now closed down w.e.f. this date, you are unable to give a experience letter.

You can revise your Resume an cab mention your past job profile with that company and also mention your colleagues name for any references. You can tell your interviewer regarding that the company has closed down. Please note that you have to share every thing with your future employer.
