Hi All, My father passed away on March 31st 2017 and he got retired as Headmaster (Government school) on May 31 2013.
He withdrawn his PF amount at the time of his retirement itself. We have received the Loyalty-cum-life benefit amount on last month.
But last week I came to know about this EDLI scheme from my HR Branch manager. But she does not know about this in detail.
Anyone from this forum please guide me if my father is eligible is for EDLI and for that what should I do?
And how will I get to know about his EPF number?....

Hi Arun, If your father is receiving PF pension then you are eligible for EDLI also. Check your father records for pension details and have a clue then reach me.
