PFA Tamilnadu Minimum wages - Shops & Commercial Establishment for 2019-20.
The Basic Wage has been revised after 5 years which was due during November 2018.
The average CPI index of Chennai city for year 2018 is 269. Base year average point is 161.
The DA will be 269(2018 Average)-161(Base Year Average)=108 points increase from last year.
So DA amount will be 108 * 32.40 = Rs. 3499/- (Rounded off).
Approximately 35% increase from last year minimum wages(Basic + DA).
Also Attaching the draft notification recommendation which came during February 2018.
