6 years ago, i joined a company with fake experience, but from next companies i didn't show that experience anymore, now I have joined a new company with all original experiences, pre joining bgv is cleared.

But now after 6 months, I got call from a person who said he is from bgv verification team and their db shows i have used a black listed company in my experience prior. And he is asking me money so that they will propeduce clean chitt to my company.

My manager says my bgv is cleared that's why I have got the job.

The bgv person said i have carrer gap that's why they reinvestigated but my manager says after successful bgv check they don't do re verification.

I'm dumb f***ed. How did they know , and what should I do now. I joined this company with all legal documents, omitted the fake one.

Dear member,

Paragraph-wise comments (or questions) to post are given below:

Reply: - While taking up the first employment, you had faked the experience. Thereafter, how many companies did you change?

But now after 6 months, I got call from a person who said he is from bgv verification team and their db shows i have used a black listed company in my experience prior. And he is asking me money so that they will propeduce clean chitt to my company.

Reply: - I wish you had told the caller that if one company blacklists another company, then it cannot be the fault of the employees. Secondly, I wish you had told the caller to send the official letter on their company letter about working in a blacklisted company. The official letter will pave way for talking with the HR professionals and explain your position to them. When the caller asked for the bribe, did you accede to his demand or declined it?

My manager says my bgv is cleared that's why I have got the job.

Reply: - That is correct. Secondly, six months is a too long time. The background verification (BGV) is outsourced. No company will give that amount of time to the outsourced partner for doing the BGV.

The bgv person said i have carrer gap that's why they reinvestigated but my manager says after successful bgv check they don't do re verification.

Reply: - You can tell the caller that while applying for the job, you had declared the career gap in your CV and despite the gap, I was called for the interview. As the recruitment authorities were satisfied with your candidature you were offered the job. If the recruitment department or the HR department had any reservations, they had officially communicated with you, however, as of now official communication has not been received.

I'm dumb f***ed. How did they know , and what should I do now. I joined this company with all legal documents, omitted the fake one.

Reply: - How the caller could come to know about fakery is a mystery. It is said that even the walls have ears. Were you at such a place and did a loose talk? Nevertheless, the caller himself appears to be a fraudster. He wishes to capitalise on your fakery. Therefore, just ignore his calls but at the same time, do not flare up and show him your anger!

Thanks,
