My question is about ESIC and PF deposits on labor expenses, but our business is a saree and lehenga firm. In our firm's books, labor expenses are recorded only for parcel loading/unloading or internal stock transfers by labor, as well as for building repair labor payments.

Hi,

I presume you are asking whether there is a need to pay PF/ESI for laborers who do the work of loading/unloading. How are you considering them? Are they being paid on a daily wage basis or a monthly salary?
