First, you contact the Deputy Labour Commissioner of the particular region where you were posted and register a complaint against your employer. Proceed with this step first, and then expect a speedy result.

How big is the organization and how many employees are there in the company. If the number of employees is more, like you, all of you can join together and approach the Labour Department. If the number of employees is greater, it will be more effective and powerful. Unity is Strength!

Since your salary is payable on a monthly basis, every month at the beginning, the employer has been displaying dishonest intentions by expecting work from you without intending to pay wages at the end of the month. This constitutes cheating employees. Therefore, I advise you to issue a notice to the employer demanding immediate payment of your dues; otherwise, criminal prosecution under Section 420 of the IPC will be pursued. I hope the employer will promptly settle the outstanding dues. However, in the future, remain vigilant if you plan to continue working. Simultaneously, send a notice for the recovery of the amount owed through the appropriate forum and commence legal proceedings.

Thanks,

Sushil
