Dear Seniors,
Hope you all are doing great!! As the appraisal time has started, could you please guide us on the tentative idea of an HR person's CTC/Salary with a total experience of 5+ years in core HR activities? What is the service industry paying on average for Senior HR professionals in their companies? What is the expected average hike rate in the HR domain for core personnel?
Please help...
Thanks,
Saunee

Dear member,
It depends on industry to industry and person to person. If a person is working at the level of HR Manager with 5-6 years of experience, I do not think they would be able to perform at a full-fledged or hardcore level of an HR Manager. One of my friends is working in the capacity of Assistant Manager - HR at a software company, with 7 years of overall experience, and earns 4.5 L.
Thanks

Correction in posting: An ITES company, with a turnover of $1 billion, is different from a $5 billion company, and naturally, the pay structure differs. As someone pointed out, an HR professional with 5 years of experience cannot perform core HR activities and would fall under the lower-middle level or even upper-lower level management grade. They can expect around 6 lakhs CTC if the company is of medium size. Regret the inconvenience.
