I read your comments about leadership, I have a totally different viewpoint (sure I respect your viewpoint :) )
I think that leaders are not made by people or born. There are reasons which made leaders and it depends on the person and his field of interest; politic,religion,economy...
The reason let people dreaming about a better situation, so it helps to get a VISION.
To attend this vision the person have to convince other PEOPLE about his personal vision.
To convince PEOPLE the person must have QUALITIES and VALUES.
And finally the person will have RESULTS.
For me this is the way to be a leader.
REASON ---------» LEADERS who have VISION + QUALITIES
VALUES + PEOPLE
To get a RESULT.
