We, as HR professionals, are often intrigued by leadership development or soft skill development needs among many of our associates. Based on our research on life skill development, it has come to the limelight that these career skills need to be reinforced during the formative stage of children rather than focusing on the same during the later part of adolescence or adulthood. Existing tools available to identify career skills among children are based on mapping of symptoms rather than root cause analysis. After close to 4 years of research and validation, a new software solution has been developed which focuses on both genotype and phenotype aspects of children for their career skill development, which in all probability results in better career success and life accomplishment. This is a holistic approach to HRD that combines science, IT, apart from fundamental aspects of life skill development.

The new website created by the authors provides lots of insights and a solution-oriented approach towards career skill development among children. This is a holistic and integrated approach to carve out the future generation with the required leadership qualities to build a repertoire of HR assets at a global level.

Very interesting application of HRD approach. I will certainly be visiting the site to understand the concept further as I am quite intrigued by how the so-called holistic approach to development will aid in the need-of-the-hour life skills.
